@Retreat
Please announce that we are making an appeal that retreat payments be made tomorrow (caf) or monday (to me during perio).
Palancas are due next friday before the retreat. :D
@Ramayana
Because of the problems with time management, expenses, relationship with family and competitiveness and the violations done, there will be changes for the play. *insert long letter/speech of maam sagucio here*
Basically, okay pa nung Tuesday, kaso may nagcomplain na parent tungkol sa sobrang daming expenses. May mga teachers na nagcomplain rin and other PTA. Nagalit ang admin. They wanted it stopped. It's still a class requirement so dahil kay maam sagucio, it'll push through under these conditions:
- no longer a contest
- no more additional expenses allowed. use the props and costume you already have
- posters will still be passed but it won't be advertised
- it will be presented during class hours at the 3rd meeting of english of the week
- the audience will be whoever is free during that time
- since class hours = 1 english period = 50 mins, the play will be cut short to 30 mins.
BUT WAIT
"Compromise":
- Allowed to practice after perio + Thursday before retreat
- No practice during retreat
- Presentation will start on monday
- time slot will be during the supposedly run throughs during homeroom and stuff, lunch breaks, dismissal. I think that's for Wed and Fri? I don't know. I got confused there. That's not final ish though. Waiting for approval if ever.
- Other basis for our grade (Note: Ramayana is 20% of our grade) will be the evaluation per student. It's a class requirement. Just write your thoughts on Ramayana. The admin won't read it. More details on this next time.
- Suggestion: Since it's not a competition anymore, we can share our props and costume with other sections, so there wouldn't be any more additional expenses. Pwede. :-bd
- Basically, tuloy ang Ramayana
- The time will just depend whether the compromise would be approved. Btw, wala nang lighting. :D Sound system na lang ung ipprovide, which i'm not sure kung ano mangyayari now that iba-ibang days na ung presentation. :D
