After travelling a distance of 2.0 m , the speed of the block is 5.0 m/s. (a) what is the work done by friction? (b) what is the coefficient of friction?

3. A 750-N box is pulled in a rough horizontal plane by a motor driven cable. The coefficient of kinetic friction between the box and the plane is 0.40. (a) How much work is required to pull it 60 m at a constant speed of 2.0 m/s? (b) What power must the motor have to perform this task?

@Retreat
Please announce that we are making an appeal that retreat payments be made tomorrow (caf) or monday (to me during perio).
Palancas are due next friday before the retreat. :D

@Ramayana
Because of the problems with time management, expenses, relationship with family and competitiveness and the violations done, there will be changes for the play. *insert long letter/speech of maam sagucio here*
Basically, okay pa nung Tuesday, kaso may nagcomplain na parent tungkol sa sobrang daming expenses. May mga teachers na nagcomplain rin and other PTA. Nagalit ang admin. They wanted it stopped. It's still a class requirement so dahil kay maam sagucio, it'll push through under these conditions:
- no longer a contest
- no more additional expenses allowed. use the props and costume you already have
- posters will still be passed but it won't be advertised
- it will be presented during class hours at the 3rd meeting of english of the week
- the audience will be whoever is free during that time
- since class hours = 1 english period = 50 mins, the play will be cut short to 30 mins.

BUT WAIT

"Compromise":
- Allowed to practice after perio + Thursday before retreat
- No practice during retreat
- Presentation will start on monday
- time slot will be during the supposedly run throughs during homeroom and stuff, lunch breaks, dismissal. I think that's for Wed and Fri? I don't know. I got confused there. That's not final ish though. Waiting for approval if ever.
- Other basis for our grade (Note: Ramayana is 20% of our grade) will be the evaluation per student. It's a class requirement. Just write your thoughts on Ramayana. The admin won't read it. More details on this next time.
- Suggestion: Since it's not a competition anymore, we can share our props and costume with other sections, so there wouldn't be any more additional expenses. Pwede. :-bd
- Basically, tuloy ang Ramayana
- The time will just depend whether the compromise would be approved. Btw, wala nang lighting. :D Sound system na lang ung ipprovide, which i'm not sure kung ano mangyayari now that iba-ibang days na ung presentation. :D

@STR
Supposed to be MSDS + Material Sourcing but everything is moved to Friday!

@Ramayana
Supposed to be deadline for costumes, tech and props tomorrow but if you didn't hear the announcement a while ago, here it is:
You are not supposed to mention, practice or make any activity related to Ramayana until the last bell on the last day of perio (which is right after the English perio). That includes props, costumes, photoshoots, music line ups, line reading, practices. You are not allowed to stay late for it. This is because our grades are slipping daw. We're too focused on Ramayana that we're forgetting the other subjects. We are only allowed to continue practicing after the last perio (English) and the day after that (we're still gonna plan this and talk to teachers about it, but sir daj said we'll have PE on this day, pero wala na sa thursday ata). No one's allowed to do props, practice, bring anything related to Ramayana on the 15th-17th, which is our retreat. If you get caught with anything related to it like your script, it will be confiscated and be returned after the retreat. The deadlines for the costume, props, tech is moved to the week after perio. (Though I don't know how we can cram all those in 2 1/2 days or something.) The day of the presentation of the play is not changed. It's still on Oct. 22. (I know, ngfjklbvfnm,ilahuilaer,bfjksdlui)

Please cooperate na lang. If you get caught with any prop, costume, practice, script, the whole thing is cancelled. So please think about the class, the efforts, the MONEY, the other sections, maam sagucio, and the future (they'll possibly cancel all future plays and extra curricular activities that they might find distracting to our studies).

So in the meantime, please don't bring anything related to it. We'll figure out what to do tomorrow. No practice muna tomorrow.

Uhm, so what are we gonna do in all our free periods and English?
Maam will still meet us tomorrow. Bring White Tiger daw or anything we want to study like prob sets, etc.
Don't worry na lang. Focus on your studies muna.
