*ULTIMATE FITNESS CHALLENGE
The Ultimate Fitness Challenge (UFC) is a competition that will pit the different houses in the field of fitness. It is a 3 stage competition aimed at screening the house that will outlast the competition. The different challenges include aero marathon, 5 km run, and the multistage shuttle run test. Representatives from each house will be screened challenge after challenge until one house remains. The house that stands after the three challenges will be crowned champion.
Mechanics
1. Each house has to field in 18 representatives.
1.a. Each house should have 4 representatives from each batch.
1.b. Each batch should select 2 males and 2 females.
1.c. Each house should select 2 faculty members to represent each house.
2. The participants have to be physically fit and should sign a waiver before participation.
3. Participants are to wear the appropriate sports attire for the activity.
4. Registration will be from 8:30am – 9:00am.
5. Each participant has to register and wear his/her number on the front part of the shirt.
6. The 1st stage of the Ultimate Fitness Challenge is the Aero Marathon at the Gymnasium.
7. The Aero Marathon is from 9:00am – 10:00am.
8. Each participant has to follow the exercise shown on the LCD projector.
9. Judges will be roaming around the floor to determine which participants are able to perform satisfactorily the exercises being projected on the screen.
10. All participants that don’t meet the criteria set by the judges will be asked to leave the competition.
11. The remaining participants after the Aero Marathon will be given 30 minutes to prepare and rehydrate for the next stage.
12. The 2nd stage of the Ultimate Fitness Challenge is the 5 km run around the PSHS campus.
13. The start/finish area is at the flagpole area in the front lobby of the campus.
14. All remaining participants should be at the flagpole area by 10:15am for briefing.
15. The race will start at 10:30am after which the participants have to run around the PSHS campus 6 times.
16. Each participant needs to get a straw after each lap as proof that the runner has made one lap.
17. The top 15 male and 15 female finishers will move forward to the next stage.
18. The last stage of the Ultimate Fitness Challenge is the Multistage Shuttle Run Test at the Gymnasium.
19. The Top 30 participants after the 2nd stage should report to the Gymnasium by 11:15 as the final stage will start at 11:30am.
20. The last remaining runner during the last stage is considered the winner and the House that the runner represents will be declared champion.

DODGEBALL
Will be done simultaneously with the UFC. (if it doesn’t rain!)
Mechanics:
1. Houses will be lined on their end lines 20 feet apart.
2. Each house is represented by 8 players, 2 from each batch (1 male and 1 female)
3. The dodge ball will be positioned on the middle of the playing field (10 feet x 20 feet)
4. On the sign of the umpire, the players will rush to the middle of the field to get the balls.
5. Once they have the balls, players need to retreat to their throwing lines (5 feet from the end line) where they can start hitting the players of the opposing team
6. They can only throw behind their throwing lines; violation of this rule would result to ejection of the player from the field.
7. Players hit by the balls result to automatic ejection from the field.
8. Players who threw a caught ball will be ejected from the field.
9. A player can go back the playing the playing field if their team is able to catch a thrown ball.
10. If a player goes behind their end lines is also ejected from the playing field.
11. A player can go beyond their throwing line but not beyond the center line to retrieve a ball.
12. The team that has the most number of players after 8 minutes will be declared the winner.
